4th International Strategy Conference on Safety and Health at Work, Moving Ahead - Vision.Human.Work.

21 - 24 March 2016 at the DGUV Academy Dresden

The world in which we live and work is constantly changing. Not surprisingly, the requirements for successful prevention are also changing. Under the slogan Moving Ahead – Vision.Human.Work, the 4th International Strategy Conference on Safety and Health at Work was taking a closer look at the top trends in what is currently being discussed in occupational safety and health.

The topics discussed were: the implementation of Vision Zero as a global guiding strategy. The human relationships as the centre of prevention. The integration of occupational safety and health needs with the promotion of good health, the capabilities and challenges of all ages and work in a digital work.

International and national experts joined the conference to network and to exchange their views on how work has changed and what this means for occupational safety and health.

As with previous events, the 4th Strategy Conference was interactive and process-oriented. Each of the five topics was worked on from four different perspectives leading to productive discussions and interesting new insights.

The 4th International Strategy Conference was linked with the outcomes of the XX World Congress on Safety and Health – Global Forum for Prevention 2014 in Frankfurt and built a bridge to the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2017 in Singapore.
