Optical Radiation

The section "Optical Radiation" of the department Ergonomics Physical Environmental Factors covers the fields of optical radiation (ultraviolet, visible and infrared radiation). The focal points are:

• Measurement and assessment of radiation exposures at workplaces
• Personal dosimetry
• Advice on protective measures
• Laboratory measurements, e. g. properties of radiation sources, transmission of filters and substances
• Expert opinions in cases of occupational diseases
• Providing information

The Section of Electromagnetic Fields has moved to Department Accident Prevention.
